I am a tattoo artist specializing in fine-line work, grey wash shading, black and white compositions, and color tattoos — including the delicate shimmer of glitter-style ink. I’m 23, but my relationship with art began long before my career in tattooing. Since kindergarten, I’ve felt drawn to color, movement, lighting, and the way different mediums interplay to express emotion. As I grew older, that passion led me into art shows and competitions at the Cedarburg Art Mill, where my love for storytelling through visuals took its earliest form. Tattooing became my path at 19, yet in many ways, I feel that my artistic journey began with the first piece I ever chose to wear on my own skin — a tattoo in honor of my grandfather. His passing changed how I understood memory, legacy, and the ways we carry love forward. That single tribute would ultimately shape not just my style, but my purpose. From that inspiration came the name Bella Tela Tattoos — an Italian phrase meaning “Beautiful Canvas.” It is a tribute to my grandfather, to his story, and to the belief that every life and every body holds chapters worth preserving. Skin becomes not only a surface, but a living gallery for the people, memories, and moments that matter most. Tattooing, to me, is not merely decoration; it is storytelling, healing, and the quiet honoring of the things that make us who we are. In my studio, I invite each client to consider the questions that first shaped my own journey: How do we choose to remember? How do we choose to express?
